Fuel Cell PEMFC Technology Head Director Expat Contract Job China
Job Responsibilities
1. Lead and make decisions on system-level design and stack-level design, including system requirements, system architecture, high-level strategies, and mechanical integration concept design.
2. Lead the promotion of the achievement of system-level key technical indicators, provide solutions, review phased progress, and make decisions on final plans/countermeasures.
3. Review the requirements, design, and achievement results of key components (BOP, bipolar plates, MEA, etc.); have the approval authority for the technical specifications, selection, supplier technical capability evaluation, and final design of key core components (such as membrane electrode assembly MEA, bipolar plates, catalysts, seals) and key BOP (such as air compressors, hydrogen circulation pumps, humidifiers, controllers). Ensure that the technical solutions of key components match the overall system performance, reliability, cost, and supply chain security goals.
4. Approve the Design Verification Plan (DVP) and test specifications for system-level and stack-level products.
5. Support the improvement of the development process for fuel cell systems and stack products.
6. Support the echelon construction of technical teams and the improvement of technical capabilities, provide ideas/methods for knowledge accumulation in the development process, and guide the transformation of key design activities into design manuals/specifications.
7. Lead the formulation of the technical route for fuel cell system and stack development; formulate and lead the implementation of the medium- and long-term development strategy, technical roadmap, and innovation plan for the company’s fuel cell technology and products. Based on market demand, technical trends, competitive situation, and company resources, decide the development direction of core technologies (such as materials, stack structure, system integration, control strategy, manufacturing process, etc.) to ensure technical leadership and product competitiveness.
8. Other matters required by the company that do not conflict with the main responsibilities of this position.
Job Requirements
1. More than 10 years of experience in stack development/fuel cell system development, and a good command of the entire development process of stacks and fuel cell systems.
2. Familiar with the performance and durability characteristics of key materials for stacks/systems, deeply understand the differences between various technical routes (co-flow/counter-flow, metal plates & graphite plates, etc.), and able to connect with customers’ actual scenario needs to conduct technical route definition, matching, and demand definition for systems/stacks.
3. Have practical project experience in improving indicators such as the service life, durability, and reliability of stacks and fuel cell systems; be able to conduct characteristic analysis and physical property parameter extraction based on data, form data analysis models and test methods, and locate problems and propose countermeasures.
4. Have a spirit of challenge, strong sense of responsibility, excellent collaboration skills and organizational planning capabilities, a deep understanding of the fuel cell industry, and an industry-level technical strategic perspective.
